Mission Statement

Increase environmental awareness by being a driving force in rural empowerment, eventually acting as a major catalyst in de-escalating the human-elephant conflict. All this achieved through beautiful products made out of 100% waste.

Company Objectives

The Maximus Objectives are to increase Environmental Awareness, Enhance Conservation efforts and eventually make them profitable and sustainable. Through our product ranges and Public Relations work we hope to educate people to understand and address these issues. Together we can push for a Sustainable Future.

The Long Term plans of Maximus are to introduce what has been named “PROJECT PEACE PAPER”. The idea is to help reduce the Human / Elephant conflict that currently rages in rural village areas of Sri Lanka. We have plans to produce Wild Elephant Dung Paper in such areas by building paper re-cycling plants. We plan to train the villagers in paper making techniques and sale of the finished products. This newly created Cottage Industry can then directly contribute to the local economy. We project such an initiative will self educate the villagers into living, working and respecting the elephant rather than struggling and battling against them.
